Daniel's Grampa and Gramma's house was hit by lightening and burnt to the ground. He wanted to write a song for his grand parents about the old house.

All the cats played the yard, Great Gramma played the tunes
on the dining room piano as we sang.
Grampa tuned up Harleys and Hand and Foot was played
in garage as all our voices rang.

Mashed Potatoes on my plate, stuffing and turkey
Dean and Keith were wrestling on the floor.
Roger kept on playin’ on his video games
and then I asked my gramma for some more.

Great Gramma and Great Grampa are now home with the Lord
But we'll be all together once again.

Better Ride started in 2010 as a writing project that included people with developmental disabilities. After lyrics of a handful of songs were written we decided to put the words to music. We now perform at conferences, conventions, fairs, festivals, coffee houses and pubs.
